Interior designer

Karina Mendez has excelled in producing an array of stunning spaces for her clients for over 10 years. She continues to impress them with her product selection, creativity and attention to detail. Her approach with every client is with individuality. She identifies the client’s style and preference along with the necessity of the home and makes suggestions rather than imposing her own. Karina is up to date with trends and isn’t afraid to think outside the box.

Her love for design began at a very young age. As a child, she recalls visiting new places with her parents. There she would always discuss about what needed to be changed to make the space more functional and attractive. In one instance, when she was only 8 years old, she remembers commenting to her cousin that the restaurant they were dining at needed a big window, a deeper colored wall and extra lighting. She remembers her cousin looking at her puzzled, probably thinking, "Why is she telling me this? Can we just play?” Now looking back, it makes her smile because it reassures her that she had this passion all along. 

As she grew up, nothing seemed to be a better fit than to pursue her dream of becoming an interior designer. Karina was born and raised in Los Angeles, California and decided to move to the beautiful city of San Francisco to attend college. During her time there, she attended San Francisco State University and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree of Science in Interior Design in 2012. Two years later, she became a certified interior designer for the state of California and worked on building her design business in Los Angeles. She has worked on all types of projects, from small scale to multi-million dollar projects and restaurants. One day, Karina met a cute boy from Orange County who swept her off her feet and asked her to marry him. Karina now resides and runs her design firm in Anaheim, California.
