La Canada, California.

This home was built in 1949 and, delightfully, the kitchen was original. One could imagine the possibilities for transformation from simply walking into this home. It was such a joy to creatively run wild with this project while also keeping the integrity of the era. Two-tone cabinets and a dark-gray backsplash tile were selected, to contrast beautifully with the light-tones throughout. The 1950’s flair surely came through with wall-mounted brass plumbing fixtures, baby-blue vintage fridge, farm-style sink and the restoration of the client’s antique stove. The end result was nothing short of charming.
